Personal Shopping

What is Personal Shopping?

Personal shopping is a service that takes the guess work and labor out of finding the right clothes and accessories for your body type, lifestyle and budget. Whether you hate to shop, or just need help navigating the right stores, a stylist can teach you the best ways to get the most bang for your buck.

Who needs Personal Shopping?

Someone who would benefit from a Personal Shopping appointment is anyone who…

  • Finds shopping frustrating or dislikes it entirely
  • Likes to shop but is tired of buying the wrong pieces
  • Doesn’t have time to shop
  • Wants to take the guesswork and labor out of shopping and make it a more efficient experience
  • Needs to fill gaps in their wardrobe or make seasonal updates

What is included in a Personal Shopping appointment?

If you prefer to shop with the stylist, she will pre-shop for you before you arrive for your scheduled appointment. That means you will arrive to a fitting room full of clothes with selectively picked merchandise by the stylist to suit your body, budget and lifestyle needs.

If you prefer to have the stylist shop for you, she will shop on your behalf and deliver the garments to your home where a try-on session will take place. Once garments have been selected the stylist will return any garments that didn’t “make the cut.”

Additionally, the stylist will scout for coupons and deals to ensure that you will get the most bang-for-your-buck during your shopping trip. On average, clients save several hundred dollars during shopping appointments.

How long does Personal Shopping take?

The duration of a shopping appointment is dictated by the amount of items that need to be purchased (i.e. shopping for one new suit won’t take as long as rebuilding an entire wardrobe). Duration is also dictated by the number of stores that are visited (i.e. visiting one giant department store may be more time efficient than boutique hopping).

How will Personal Shopping help me?

Personal Shopping will give you peace of mind about your wardrobe and in the long run will help you save time and money because you will know you have the right pieces stocked in your wardrobe. Personal Shopping will also help you curb impulse buying decisions. It will teach you about the cost-per-wear system to show you that one-time purchases are often more costly than investing in something that is worn multiple time. Overall, Personal Shopping will help you build a cohesive wardrobe that suits your budget, lifestyle and body needs.
