Guide Your Style offers a variety of services to meet the unique needs of a broad clientele base. A sampling of our services are outlined below. In-Home Consultation: 

With an in-home consultation you get a chance to chat with a stylist about your style wants, needs and frustrations. Together you’ll take a walk through of your wardrobe and discuss the best course of action for achieving your style goals. Mini-Group consultations are also available (i.e. Mother-Daughter, Group of Girlfriends, etc.)

 

Closet Intervention: 

A Closet Intervention is a purging analysis of your current wardrobe. We will investigate your closet to identify key gaps in your wardrobe while analyzing everything for fit, function, and flattery. Recommendations for donation and consignment and tailoring will be made where necessary. A complete list of fill-in items and closet analysis will be given in a post-appointment recap. This service is perfect for anyone who needs to take a step back and look at the big-picture regarding their personal style and wardrobe; it’s a great jumping-off point.

 

Internet Shopping Links:

This option is a great accompaniment to the Closet Intervention. Your stylist will search the internet for products (up to 4 hours) that meet your individual wardrobe needs. The links will be tailored to your body type, budget, lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.  This service is perfect for the busy woman who prefers to never step foot in the mall or someone who simply wants a visual indication of what products to look for.

 

Closet Reorganization:

Closet Reorganization will turn your closet into a clutter-free, functional space that will simplify your daily routine. The stylist will implement our favorite space-saving hanger system (these hangers will change your life) and organize your clothing and accessories into a practical and useful wardrobe system. This is a great option after your purged your wardrobe and filled in the gaps; it’s the finishing touch to bring your wardrobe together.

 

Personal Shopping:

Personal Shopping can be done with or without the client in attendance. If you’d like to hit the stores, your stylist will pre-shop for up to two hours before your arrival at no additional cost. When you arrive you’ll have expertly selected options to suit your style and budget needs. If you don’t have time to hit the stores your stylist can grab everything you need and bring it to your home to try.

We shop to suit all style and budget preferences; down-and-dirty at the discount spots, boutique hop to find something unique or hit the mall to build your essential wardrobe. We love to find the best deals and always have money-saving coupons to help clients stretch their budget.

 

Shop Your Closet Outfit Styling with Electronic Lookbook: 

Never again look into your closet and say, “I have nothing to wear.” With a Shop Your Closet Outfit Styling session your stylist will maximize your wardrobe into head-to-toe outfits for every occasion in your life (work, date night, weekend, PTA meeting, etc.). We will photograph each outfit and assemble an electronic lookbook for you to reference on a daily basis. This service will take the stress and guess work out of getting dressed each morning.

Travel: Travel within a 40 mile radius of Columbia, Md., is included for all appointments. Guide Your Style will gladly service clients outside of this radius for an additional travel fee.
