Welcome to Guide Your Style!

Hi, I'm Lisa and this is my website dedicated to helping you make informed style decisions on a budget. I provide personal style services aimed at helping you organize your wardrobe, learn to dress for your body shape, shop for special events and much more. I also write a blog that is focused on bringing you practical style tips, local finds and budget friendly ideas to stretch your dollar a bit further.

If you have no idea about fashion, or feel completely overwhelmed with your current state of style, then this is the place to be. I can help you get out of your fashion rut and teach you everything you need to know to put your most fashionable foot forward!

My personal services and blog are designed to suit every lifestyle, budget, and body type. It is not my goal to turn you into a trend-conscious fashion follower; I just want to help you inject some practical style mantras into your daily life so you can live every moment with confidence!

About Me

I have been working in the fashion industry for over 10 years and I have a serious passion for clothing and accessories. I have used my fashion education and work experience to help women of every shape and size reach their true style potential.

I recently received my Masters in Fashion Promotion from Istituto Marangoni in London. While studying I gained valuable insight into the heart of the fashion industry by working at London Fashion Week as a blog writer covering catwalk shows. I also spent time as a copywriter for fashion networking site Nineteen74.com and SchÖn Magazine.

Before getting my Masters I spent several years growing through the ranks at Nordstrom (style and customer service at its best). It was at Nordstrom where I developed many lasting customer relationships and decided to take my styling to the next level, thus starting GuideYourStyle.com.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from East Carolina University with minor studies in Apparel Merchandising.

I currently reside in the Baltimore/D.C. area with my husband, Paul, and stylish miniature dachshund, Leon.
